Double value check

Will 0.0 fall in under the range of double.If it doesn't come in the range ,how come Double object is getting created with that value.As per java api
range is between(4.9E-324 - 1.7976931348623157E308),in which minimum value is greater than zero.Plz do suggest me at th earliest
