applets with JNI

Posted by Philippe on Friday, 23 May 2003, at 6:09 a.m.

Hello. I'm trying to run an applet using JNI for native methods. I know that I have to create a signed applet in order to make it work. I heard about buying certificates and changing policy file. I don't understand anything about this, as I didn't find any clear tutorial. Could anyone give me a little simple example in java using native methods with all the steps to follow? I'm using Solaris.
Please help me, I reaslly spent too much time on this...

Thanks in advance!
Philippe
