Predictions for Java (30 - March - 98)
Will see Java utilized in cross-platform systems
where messaging standardization is critical to
enterprise systems. Most uses will be on server-side
applications or servlets and middleware. Limited
use in thin client applicaitons. Will see a
growing interest in use for appliances and
transportation.
